Se encontraban en lo alto de una montaña rusa cuando la máquina se paró. Los responsables del parque de atracciones ‘Thorpe Park’ en el Reino Unido decidieron que lo más seguro sería que los visitantes del parque bajaran a pie.

Alrededor de 20 personas descendieron por las empinadas escaleras mientras la lluvia dificultaba las tareas de rescate. El parque ha asumido que con esta medida se puso en riesgo la vida de los visitantes y podría enfrentarse a una multa millonaria así como a decenas de demandas por lesiones

Algunos testigos aseguran que ya antes de ponerse en funcionamiento los operarios realizaron varios comprobaciones en la atracción que hacía pensar que algo no iba bien.
